The inaugural Newer Brothers Fraternal Development and Empowerment Summit took place on Saturday, January 23, 2021. The Brothers of Mu Sigma Lambda came together to uplift those that had been recently initiated into the Fraternity.
The program was envisioned by Chapter president, Bro. Tony “Khalfani” Magee and chaired by Bro. C. Anthony Brown. “This event was designed to increase our new Brothers’ Alpha knowledge, wisdom and personal development for life and career success”, Bro. President Magee said.
The event included the following agenda items:
- Opening Keynote: “ALPHA AUDACITY” – by Brother Raymond Scott, IZL
- ALPHA SESSION: “LEGACY” – by Brother Jamil Akim O’Quinn, MSL
- BETA SESSION: “LEADERSHIP” – by Brother Blake Wilson, Jr., MSL
- GAMMA SESSION: “LOVE FOR THE BROTHERHOOD” – by Brother C. Anthony Brown, MSL
- DELTA SESSION: “LIFE-ESSENTIALS” – by Brother President Tony “Khalfani” Magee, MSL
- Closing Message: “ALPHA SPIRIT” – by Brother Chaplain Ron Thomas, MSL
After a full day of training and fellowship, the newer brothers left installed with the spirit of “Manly deeds, Scholarship, and Love for all mankind”.
