On Saturday, March 26, 2002, Bro. Daniel Minor was acknowledged for his 70 years of membership in Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
Bro. Minor was pinned by Bro. General President Dr. Willis L. Lonzer during a private ceremony that took place during the 2022 Western Region Convention.
Bro. President Lonzer presided over the ceremony virtually, while Mu Sigma Lambda Chapter President, Bro. Tony Magee, placed the pin on Bro. Minor at his home in Los Angeles.
Western Region officers and dignitaries participated virtually from San Francisco including Bro. Western Region Vice President Wayne Kimball, Jr.; Bro. Southern California District Director Kevin Simon; Beta Psi Lambda Chapter President, Bro. Sean Allen; and Bro. Dr. Joseph Gambrell. Bro. Gambrell was instrumental in coordinating the historic event.
Bro. President Magee reflected on the occasion, remarking “Today was a joyous day for our Big Brother Daniel Minor. What an enormous achievement for a noble Alpha icon”.
