Founded on September 23, 1977, by 14 visionary men known as The Audacious 14, the Mu Sigma Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. has proudly served the Los Angeles community for nearly five decades. Based in Baldwin Hills and Culver City, the chapter serves Leimert Park, View Park–Windsor Hills, Mid-City, and the Crenshaw district. Grounded in brotherhood, service, and leadership, the Baldwin Hills Alphas remain committed to the betterment of humanity through accountability, adaptability, excellence, integrity, and teamwork.
